On the anniversary of the terrible Russian invasion of Ukraine 
, last year we supported a talented Ukrainian teenager who loves playing basketball, who found a new home in Grosmont.
The club together with the Grosmont community purchased a basketball hoop 
for the village tennis courts, so Denys could practice his skills and have fun with other children. He is now thriving and playing for Whitby Jets Basketball Club!
