The club today paid its respects to the servicemen, servicewomen and civilians who paid the ultimate sacrifice for peace in our time by purchasing a poppy wreath that was donated to the Royal British Legion at Whitby’s Remembrance Sunday Service held at the town’s war memorial at the dock end.
Please consider donating to the Royal British Legion online this year as they are struggling to fund raise due to the Covid-19 pandemic/lockdown being not allowed to have street collectors selling poppies.
